THE SENSES PROJCT
What is is it like to come back to your senses?
Every piece in this project begins before a single drop of paint is mixed. It begins with a conversation. Who is this person? What are they carrying? What have they survived, built, lost, reached toward? What do they share with the rest of us?
The work that follows translates that inner landscape through painting, photography, and digital composition into something visible. The person is not a model. They are a collaborator — their story is the raw material, and the finished work belongs to both of us.
Senses has been in development for over sixteen years. Season II includes 27 new collaborators. The project sits at the intersection of contemporary art, wellness, and the question of what the human body can express when it is no longer being used to sell something.

The Senses series is a collision of fashion modeling, Instagram culture, and a deep artistic wellness practice.

The series is currently looking for new models and collaborators.
The studio is in Helsinki, Finland, but international shoots are also possible.
All collaborations are done under a contract and agreed with the model before the shoot. To ensure both the artist and model are protected, we have a protocol in place to make sure the personal space of the model is respected. Safety is a high priority.
We did a drop with Crypto dot com for 12 limited edition pieces in Spring 2023.
