ART CARS

IIn Renaissance Italy, art was not separate from life. It was woven into cities, into public spaces, into the way people understood themselves.

Dubai is a young country built on innovation, vision, and ambition. The Art Cars project sits inside that spirit. The question is simple. What happens when art returns to the street? Not as decoration but as transformation. As a natural part of how a city expresses what it stands for.

These are RTA licensed moving artworks that travel through Dubai as public art. Each vehicle is a one of one work, with its own story, provenance, and public presence. The cars are not chosen for prestige alone, but for the meaning they can hold and the cultural signal they can carry. Art belongs to everyone.

The process starts with painting and photography.

Paint on canvas, elements captured through the camera, and hand-built visual material are composed digitally into a single original work. From that digital master, the artwork scales outward into every dimension available.

The same source composition can live as a museum-grade print, a large-scale architectural installation, a vehicle surface, an augmented reality experience, an animation, a digital twin, or an immersive environment. Each application carries the full depth of the original source material. Nothing is lost in translation, because every layer was built to hold the others.

This is what allows an Art Car to function as more than a vehicle wrap. The car is one surface of a larger work that lives across streets, screens, media, events, interiors, and virtual space. The original composition stays whole as it moves between them.

It travels at the speed of a car and at the speed of a network.

Art Cars can be created from existing VESA source compositions, or commissioned from the ground up around a collector, a vehicle, a brand, a city, or an institution.

COMMISSION AN ART CAR

An Artwork, Not a Wrap

The car is not the endpoint. It is one surface of a wider work. The same source composition lives across photography, film, media, interior environments, and immersive space, carrying its provenance with it.

A commission can be built around any vehicle. A heritage build. A hypercar. A model that already carries personal meaning. Each becomes a one of one artwork, authored and documented, that lives in motion, in photograph, in film, and in the contexts where it travels.

As part of the high end packages, HCOMM technology will provide the installation room to the institutions or private collector spaces.

We use innovative technology to achieve impact. The car is not the only delivery mechanism for culture here, but a part of a network.

Amidst the Waves Resilience.

Weathering storms. Holding form while everything shifts around you.

When this piece was created, its storm imagery was symbolic. Since then, the region and the world have continued to face storms both literal and far greater.

The car carries a different weight now. Moving through Dubai, it becomes a symbol of resilience, continuity, and cultural confidence in a time when everything around us keeps shifting.

Dr. Marwan Al Zarouni

As CEO of Artificial Intelligence at Dubai Economy and Tourism, Dr Marwan Al Zarouni works at the intersection of technology, policy, and Dubai's digital future. His patronage places the Art Cars project within the city's wider conversation about innovation, public visibility, and future-facing identity.

Most vehicle wraps are graphic design. A VESA Art Car is fine art practice.

The composition is built to hold depth, meaning, and presence at every scale: on the road, in photography, in film, in media, at events, inside immersive environments, and across digital surfaces. It does not diminish when photographed. It multiplies.

The source material comes from painting, photography, and digital composition, rooted in a practice that began in 2008, before the language of physical and digital convergence existed. That history brings rigor, authorship, and provenance to every commission.

Art once belonged to the whole city. This project is a step toward that again.

Phase 1: Inquiry 2-3 weeks You share your vision, your values, and what you want the work to express. We discuss the vehicle, the context where it will travel, and how you want it to move through the world. This conversation forms the foundation.

Phase 2: Composition 4-6 weeks The visual concept develops. Painting and photography are created as source material, then composed digitally into a single original work. You see iterations, provide feedback, and shape the direction.

Phase 3: Refinement, Production, and Documentation 3-4 weeks The final composition is approved. The vehicle surface is produced to museum-quality standards. Professional photography and documentation are completed, and provenance is established. Where relevant, the commission can also include activation planning for events, film, photography, or immersive presentation.

Total timeline: 9-13 weeks from initial contact to delivery.

Commissions begin at USD 45,000. Hypercar and factory-collaborative commissions are quoted individually, according to vehicle, artwork, production, and documentation scope.

The same source composition. Any surface. Any scale.
