ART CARS
The Art Car initiative is developed under the umbrella of the Dubai Government and the Dubai Blockchain Center (DBC). The project is patronised by Dr. Marwan Al Zarouni, CEO of DBC, a globally recognized blockchain leader, keynote speaker, and strategic advisor who has been instrumental in positioning Dubai as a hub for blockchain innovation.
At its core, the project is brought to life by VESA, a pioneering digital and phygital artist whose 20+ year career has merged fine art, technology, and storytelling. VESA’s art cars transform vehicles into moving canvases, fusing aesthetics, culture, and innovation—perfectly reflecting Dubai’s vision as a forward-thinking global city.
Together, this collaboration bridges cutting-edge technology, art, and culture, showcasing Dubai as a leader in both blockchain adoption and creative expression.
The artwork: When I Was Lips, was made via painting, photography and digital collage, so the high resolution original can become many physical and digital expressions.
Brittany Kaiser, the famous data consultant to governments, is experiencing VESA’s art in his 360 art studio, whilst exploring the same art in virtual reality. The artwork can be seen behind her as a large format print.
A car can be more than transport—it can be a moving artwork, a cultural statement, and a collectible. Each Art Car is a one-of-a-kind phygital sculpture, merging fine art, storytelling, and technology.
The artworks can be pre-made from the VESA collection or commissioned for custom specs. The above work titled “Compound Defiance” was admired by the Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin himself. The work can be a physical piece on your wall, as well as your car.

Each build takes months of design, painting, and digital layering. That means there are only a handful of these in existence worldwide—and just one spot available now for the next Dubai-based build.

Vaibhavv Ali is an 18-year veteran in offline and online marketing, specializing in Web3 strategies.
As Co-founder of Cryptonite UAE , he drives blockchain ecosystem adoption through partnerships and content. Host of THE ROADCAST podcast, he covers trends in cryptocurrency, Metaverse, Blockchain, Play-to-Earn, and content production.
A former TV/radio performer and international speaker, Vaibhavv advises on marketing, branding, and events. A member of Forbes web3 .
